Ingredients
- 1 pound of savory ground beef
- A pinch of salt
- A dash of ground black pepper
- A couple of tablespoons of flavorful Worcestershire sauce
Step 1
Shape the ground beef into 4 equally-sized patties, ensuring they are well-formed to cook evenly.
Step 2
Heat a large nonstick skillet over medium-high heat for approximately 2 minutes until it is adequately hot. Place the burger patties in the skillet and let them brown for about 2 minutes on each side until a nice crust forms.
Step 3
Lower the heat to medium and sprinkle half of the salt and pepper over the patties. Flip them over and let them cook for approximately 6 minutes. Sprinkle the remaining salt and pepper, flip the patties again, and cook for an additional 6 minutes until they are cooked through.
Step 4
Drizzle half of the Worcestershire sauce over the burgers, flip them, and let them cook for 2 minutes. Repeat the process with the remaining sauce, cooking for an extra 2 minutes. To ensure they are fully cooked, use an instant-read thermometer inserted into the center; it should register at least 160 degrees F (71 degrees C).
Extra Tips & Suggestions
- 1. Marinate your ground beef with your favorite seasonings for at least 30 minutes before shaping them into burger patties. This will infuse flavor into every bite.
- 2. Use a large plate or tray to place the shaped burger patties in a single layer. Avoid stacking them on top of each other to prevent sticking and maintain their shape.
