Ingredients
- 1 tbsp of oil, or more if necessary,
- 1 ¼ lbs of lean ground beef,
- ½ cup of egg whites,
- ⅓ cup of chopped sun-dried tomatoes packed in oil,
- 3 oz of crumbled goat cheese, adjust to your liking,
- 2 tsp of sea salt,
- 1 tsp of steak seasoning,
- 1 tsp of dried parsley flakes,
- 2 tbsp of liquid hickory smoke seasoning, if desired.
Step 1
Prepare a large skillet by lightly coating it with oil and placing it on the stove over gentle heat.
Step 2
In a spacious mixing bowl, combine ground beef, egg whites, flavorful sun-dried tomatoes, creamy goat cheese, a pinch of sea salt, zesty steak seasoning, and fresh parsley. Form this mixture into 5 delectable hamburger patties.
Step 3
Gently place the patties onto the skillet and allow them to cook for 5 minutes before flipping them over and cooking for an additional 5 minutes.
Step 4
Adjust the heat to medium or medium-high, cover the skillet, and continue cooking the patties while occasionally flipping them until they are thoroughly cooked, succulent, and juicy; this should take around 5 to 10 more minutes.
Step 5
To ensure they are done, insert an instant-read thermometer into the center of the patties; it should register a minimum of 160 degrees F (71 degrees C).
Step 6
For an added burst of flavor, drizzle the patties with a touch of liquid hickory smoke seasoning before serving.
Extra Tips & Suggestions
- 1. Marinate and Freeze : For a flavor explosion, marinate your burger patties in your favorite seasonings and sauces before freezing them. This will infuse the meat with delicious flavors while also saving you time on busy weeknights.
- 2. Stack Vertically : Utilize the vertical space in your freezer by stacking your burger patties between layers of parchment paper. This not only saves space but also prevents the patties from sticking together.
