Ingredients
- 1. Drizzle of olive oil
- 2. Diced white onion
- 3. Freshly ground sirloin
- 4. Splash of apple cider vinegar
- 5. Canned diced tomatoes
- 6. Kidney beans, rinsed
- 7. Creamy pumpkin puree
- 8. Ancho chile pepper powder
- 9. Sweet hint of light brown sugar
- 10. Aromatic ground cumin
- 11. Pinch of salt
- 12. Dash of black pepper
- 13. Worcestershire sauce touch
- 14. A hint of chipotle powder
- 15. Spicy habanero hot sauce
- 16. Essence of cinnamon oil
- 17. Fragrant cilantro essential oil
- 18. Subtle clove bud essential oil
Step 1
Begin by heating up your versatile pressure cooker, like the Instant Pot®, by choosing the Saute function. Toss in the onion and cook until it turns translucent, which usually takes about 3 minutes. Make sure to stir frequently to ensure even cooking. Next, introduce the ground sirloin and cook it, stirring occasionally, until it is no longer pink, usually around 5 to 7 minutes. Pour in the vinegar and let it simmer for an additional 2 minutes, remembering to stir occasionally.
Step 2
When the cooking is done, turn off the Instant Pot® and mix in the tomatoes, kidney beans, pumpkin, ancho chile pepper, brown sugar, cumin, salt, black pepper, Worcestershire sauce, chipotle powder, and habanero hot sauce. Stir everything together thoroughly. Seal the lid tightly and ensure the vent is closed. Set the pressure to high, following the manufacturer's instructions, and set the timer for 45 minutes. Allow the pressure to build for about 10 to 15 minutes.
Step 3
To release the pressure, follow the natural-release method as per the manufacturer's instructions for 10 minutes. Then carefully use the quick-release method to release any remaining pressure, which usually takes around 5 minutes. Unlock the lid and remove it from the cooker.
Step 4
Finish off by stirring in the cinnamon oil, cilantro oil, and clove oil for an extra burst of flavor. Serve your delicious chili in bowls or crocks and enjoy your flavorful creation.
