Ingredients
- 8 ounces of ground beef
- A half cup of panko breadcrumbs
- A quarter cup of 1% milk
- 2 ounces of sharp Cheddar cheese, shredded finely
- A single small egg
- Half of a one-ounce packet of dry onion soup mix (like LiptonĀ®)
- 2 tablespoons of flavorful barbecue sauce
Step 1
Mix together ground beef, bread crumbs, milk, flavorful Cheddar cheese, egg, and aromatic dry onion soup mix in a bowl until fully blended. Shape the mixture into a loaf on a cutting board.
Step 2
Prepare your multi-functional pressure cooker by adding a trivet and pouring in 1/2 cup of water. Place the formed loaf on the trivet. Seal the lid and select high pressure, adjusting the timer to 15 minutes. It may take around 10 to 15 minutes for the pressure to build.
Step 3
After cooking, safely release the pressure using the quick-release method, waiting for approximately 5 minutes. Open the lid once it's safe to do so.
Step 4
Move an oven rack closer to the broiler, about 6 inches away, and preheat the broiler.
Step 5
Gently transfer the trivet onto a baking sheet with edges. Glaze the meatloaf with a generous amount of barbecue sauce. Broil for 3 to 4 minutes until it achieves a delightful caramelized finish. Let it rest for 5 minutes before slicing and serving.
